What’s the difference between 3rd and 4th of shia nimaz?
3rd Rak’ah ( Shia Nimaz )
1. Tasbihat Arba’ah: Instead of reciting Surah Al-Fatiha, recite Tasbihat Arba’ah (preferably three times):
“Subhanallah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu Akbar.”
2. Ruku and Sujood: Complete one Ruku and two Sujood.
3. No Tashahhud or Salam: These are skipped in this Rak’ah unless it’s the last one of the prayer.
4th Rak’ah
1. Tasbihat Arba’ah: Again, recite Tasbihat Arba’ah as in the third Rak’ah.
2. Ruku and Sujood: Perform Ruku and two Sujood as usual.
3. Tashahhud and Salam: End the prayer with Tashahhud and Salam:
Tashahhud: Similar to the second Rak’ah.
Salam: Conclude with:
“As-salamu ‘alayka ayyuhan-Nabi wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. As-salamu ‘alayna wa ‘ala ‘ibadillahis-salihin. As-salamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.”
